Forresters Beach

Forresters Beach NSW 2260

Where big family backyards run up against national-park headland, and the beach at the end of the street stays wild.

Life at Forresters Beach.

Forresters Beach is the Coast’s quiet achiever, a leafy, low-rise pocket between Wamberal and Bateau Bay, where modern family homes sit on generous blocks against a backdrop of coastal bushland. There’s no busy strip here, and that’s the point. The beach is a wild, walkable stretch favoured by dog-walkers and anglers; the streets are newer and greener than the older beach villages; and the bush reserves at the back give the whole suburb a sense of space. It’s a place people choose deliberately, for the size of the homes and the calm. Because much of the housing stock is younger, buyers find well-built four-bedroom family homes with the room for cars, kids and a pool that the older beachfront pockets simply can’t offer. It rewards those willing to trade a café strip for a backyard.
